Dr. Adrián Guerrero Segura is a dentist by family tradition. His grandfather, Dr. Julián Guerrero Abellán, Physician and Dentist, practiced dentistry in Malaga from the 1940s to the 1980s, and presided the Malaga´s Board of Dentists. Later, his father, Dr. Eloy Guerrero Sánchez-Morales, Stomatologist and Maxillofacial Surgeon, founder of the Maxillofacial Surgery Unit of the Carlos Haya Hospital in Malaga, practiced at C/Bolsa 1, Málaga, since the early 1970s until the year 2019. And since 1997, Dr. Adrián Guerrero has given continuity to the saga of dentists, as a third generation, collecting the legacy of his grandfather and father, and coordinating a team of specialists that face to the challenges of contemporary dentistry under the name the family saga: Clinica Guerrero.

The clinical activity of Clinica Guerrero is coordinated by the periodontist (dentist or dentist specializing in Periodontics) and is complemented by his team of dental hygienists (technical specialists in oral-dental hygiene). In addition, the management team is in charge of all the tasks of coordinating appointments, administration, sending reports to referring dentists, treatment financing options, etc. This team is led by Dr. Adrián Guerrero, with the support of Dr. Lorena Pérez Canas (Unit of aesthetic dentistry and conservative dentistry), Dr. Francisco Tortosa (Unit of Periodontics and Dental Implants) Dr. Antonio García Vargas ( Microscopic Endodontics Unit) and Dr. Gianluca Paniz (Prosthodontics Unit).

Dr. Adrián Guerrero is a Doctor in Dentistry from the University of Granada (DDS & PhD) , has a Certificate in Osseointegration from the University of Umeå, Sweden, a Master in Periodontology from the Eastman Dental Institute of University College London and a Certificate in Periodontology from the European Federation of Periodontology (EFP). In addition to being a renowned Periodontist who enjoys his daily work, he maintains a commitment with the dissemination and training of Periodontology among our fellow dentists. In this sense, Dr. Guerrero acts as visiting professor for postgraduates at the University of Barcelona (UB) and the University of Granada, and has been president of the board of directors of the Spanish Society of Periodontics (SEPA) and its Foundation until the year 2019, being currently a patron of the SEPA Foundation. In addition, he is the current vice president of the Ibero-Panaamerican Federation of Periodontology (FIPP) and acts as a speaker in training courses and international congresses in our specialty around the world. Likewise, it contributes to the development of Periodontology and dental implant therapy through scientific publications in prestigious global journals.
 

Dr. Lorena Pérez Canas has a degree in Dentistry from the University of Granada and University Expert Certificate in Aesthetic Dentistry and Minimally Invasive Adhesive Rehabilitation from the Catholic University of Murcia. In addition, he has postgraduate training in orthodontics and dentofacial aesthetics and an advanced certificate in Invisalign. Dr. Pérez Canas is in charge of improving the dental aesthetics of patients, being an expert in conservative dentistry through minimally invasive techniques with composites and in the most recent advances in dental whitening.

Dr. Antonio García Vargas has a degree in Dentistry from the European University of Madrid and a Master in Endodontics from the same university. He dedicates his clinical activity exclusively to microscopic endodontics. He is also a person very involved in postgraduate training, being a professor in the Endodontics postgraduate program both at the European University of Madrid and at the Rey Juan Carlos University, as well as a speaker at multiple courses and congresses throughout the entire Spanish geography. Dr. García is an expert in the treatment of teeth with a poor prognosis, being able to save and maintain questionable teeth through the use of advanced microscopic techniques.

Dr. Francisco Tortosa has a degree in Dentistry from the CEU San Pablo University and a Master degree in implant surgery, prosthetics and peri-implantology from the Alfonso X el Sabio University. Dr. Tortosa is the expert in charge of coordinating the treatment of periodontitis and peri-implantitis, supervising the non-surgical phase and performing microsurgical treatment when indicated, in addition to supporting Dr. Guerrero throughout the surgical and rehabilitation phase of the dental implants.

Dr. Gianluca Paniz obtained his dental degree (DDS) from the University of Padova, Italy, in 2002. He is a specialist in Prosthodontics from TUFTS University, Boston, USA, where, between 2003 to 2007, he obtained a Certificate of Advanced Education in Prosthodontics, a Master Degree in Prosthodontics, and a Certificate of Advanced Education in Esthetic Dentistry. In 2016 he received his doctorate in Dentistry (PhD) from the International University of Catalonia, Barcelona. Dr. Paniz combines his clinical activity with his academic interest being adjunct professor in the Department of Prosthodontics and Restorative Dentistry at TUFTS University and visiting professor at the Department of Implantology at the University of Padova. In addition, Gianluca is an international reference and opinion leader in the field of prosthodontics through his scientific publications and his conferences at the main congresses of the specialty and in various training courses in Europe, Asia and America. Dr. Paniz is an expert in the rehabilitation and aesthetic phase of those patients who require optimal aesthetics and function.
